Flexicare LarySeal Blue Laryngeal Mask Airway
The Flexicare LarySeal Blue Laryngeal Mask Airway is a 100% single use silicone laryngeal mask airway designed to provide easy insertion and a reliable seal around the glottic opening. The soft silicone cuff material moulds to the contours of the oropharyngeal area, supporting effective airway management during anaesthesia and other clinical procedures.
LarySeal Blue combines a soft silicone construction with features designed to support airway patency, cuff pressure monitoring and clear access to the airway. The crush resistant tube incorporates a star shaped lumen to help maintain patency, while the anatomically responsive cuff is designed to conform to the oropharyngeal anatomy and provide a secure seal around the glottic opening.
The LarySeal Blue laryngeal mask airway is designed for straightforward insertion, with the soft silicone material helping the device mould to the oropharyngeal area. Its deep and open airway port provides unrestricted airway access and reduces the risk of blockage by the epiglottis.
A thin wall pilot balloon provides an indication of laryngeal mask airway cuff inflation, supporting clinical assessment during airway management. The integrated 15 mm male connector provides a universal connection for compatible breathing and anaesthesia equipment.
LarySeal Blue (LMA) also features colour coded pilot balloons to assist with identification of the airway size. The clear construction provides visibility of the device, while the slimline pack option provides an alternative packaging format where available.
