Flexicare LarySeal Pro Laryngeal Mask Airway
The Flexicare LarySeal Pro is a next generation laryngeal mask airway designed for rapid and secure airway management. It provides a supraglottic airway solution with integrated gastric access to support the removal of fluids and gastric contents, while its unique guide system facilitates endotracheal tube placement.
LarySeal Pro can also be used as a conduit for endotracheal intubation in appropriate difficult airway situations. When unexpected airway difficulties are encountered, the device can provide a means of maintaining oxygenation while facilitating intubation using a ProVu VS or flexible scope.
The anatomically shaped airway is designed to follow patient anatomy, while the wide buccal tube helps maintain its shape during insertion and supports easier first time placement. An integral bite block provides resistance to collapse, helping maintain airway patency.
Key Features
Epiglottic Flap
The integral fenestrated epiglottic flap is designed to help protect against airway blockage while minimising any increase in flow resistance. The flap also helps elevate the epiglottis to facilitate ET tube or bronchoscope insertion.
Reduced Risk of Aspiration
An integrated suction catheter port allows efficient removal of fluids and gastric contents, supporting airway management and helping reduce the risk of aspiration.
Gastric Access
The integrated gastric access allows suction equipment to be passed through the device for the removal of fluids and gastric contents.
Intubation Guide System
The unique guide system facilitates endotracheal tube placement through the laryngeal mask airway, supporting rapid and accurate intubation.
Conduit for Endotracheal Intubation
LarySeal Pro can be used as a conduit for endotracheal intubation using a ProVu VS or flexible scope. It can provide a pathway for intubation while maintaining oxygenation in appropriate difficult airway situations.
Integral Bite Block
The integral bite block provides resistance to collapse, helping maintain airway patency during use.
Anatomically Shaped
The airway is anatomically shaped to follow patient anatomy. The wide buccal tube is designed to maintain its shape during insertion, supporting easier first time placement.
Compatible with Multiple ET Tubes
LarySeal Pro can be used with oral, nasal or reinforced endotracheal tubes, providing flexibility for appropriate intubation procedures. Maximum compatible ET tube sizes vary according to the LarySeal Pro mask size.

Applications
